HOW TO OPEN A STOCKBROKING ACCOUNT
STEP 1: Download and complete any Investment Account Opening Form
Corporate or Individual Investment Account Apening Form
STEP 2: Submit:
• Photocopy of Passport or Driver’s License
• Passport Photograph
• Proof of Address (e.g. copy of a recent utility bill)
STEP 3: Effect payment via cheque or a transfer of shares or a combination of both.
The Following account will be opened on your behalf:
- A Share Purchase/ Sale Account with NSL for all transactions.
- A Shareholding Account with Central Securities Clearing System Limited.
- A dividend account will be opened for you if you elect to be a nominee client.
Once your Share Purchase /Sale accounts have been opened you will be given online access to your account and your username and password will be communicated to you.
You will be able to:
- View your account statement and transactions executed on your account.
- Place Purchase and Sale Mandates through your online account and notifications of the mandates placed will be sent to you via email.
- A trade notification E-mail will be sent to you and the contract notes for the trades can be viewed via your online account.
